LEARNING CENTER PROGRAM The Learning Center at the Union School combines hands-on, student-centered curriculum and pedagogy with small class sizes and one-on-one reinforcement to meet the needs of all learners in our school community. Union School's Learning Center is available on a very limited basis to students in grades 2 to 12 who have been identified as Learning Disabled and/or Behaviorally Disabled. Referred students must be officially evaluated by a psychologist in order to be considered for such placement. The Learning Center is composed of three full-time teachers and two full-time assistants under the auspices of the Coordinator, Mrs. Nadia Durban. Students may enter the learning center at a part-time or full time capacity and must meet specific requirements to be considered for admission.
